When I was a kid I had a dream in which I was on a horse, but the horse was going backwards. It was a very disorienting feeling. As an adult I have always been afraid of backing up in a car and do everything I can to turn the car around so that I can see straight on. Extending this concept, I hate situations in which I am not capable of seeing what lies ahead. I think that is a normal feeling. We should be able to assess what is ahead before we make a major move, have all our ducks in a row, basically, know what we are getting to. To avoid that step can spell disaster. We can also extend that concept to the level of social and political change, as well as the formation of a new relationship. Take it slow and easy and make sure you can see clearly, straight ahead and not back into a disaster.
