Watching a survival show last night, the man stranded on a mountain in winter stressed that sometimes it is better to hunker down and rest and think things through and other times better to move on down the mountain. It’s all a matter of timing. Isn’t that true in life in general. Timing is so important. It requires paying close attention to signs and symbols around you and within you to figure out the proper timing. When I was homeless, there was a time to stay in Western Mass. and go through some recovery and time to consider a move. Changing locale IS NOT necessarily a geographical cure. But as I have pointed out before, you can be creative and discover beauty just about anywhere. The cliché “home is where the heart is”:has a lot of truth behind it. Of course, you must prepare carefully for a move. Make sure something good or potentially good is on the other end of the move.
