A steady cool rain falling all night
Feels like the beginning of fall
and I’m ready
This is a day of transition and preparation
This is a day for creativity and planning
This is a day for good music
This is a day for meditation
This is also a day to break ground
that must be broken with some folks
if I am to grow to a new height
If I am to touch a new depth
A risk must be taken, fearlessly
I will stand up lik a man
and do what must be done
